I’m excited to announce that I published a sequel to my children’s book, “The Gift of a Dozen Reasons” called “The Gift of a Dozen More”, and it’s now available on Amazon in paperback and ebook!

A special thanks to Urusa (graphic_tones) on Fiverr; she did an amazing job on my illustrations once again!

The book is described as “a Christian book for children about gratitude in the midst of loss”. It’s dedicated to my Daddy who will always be my hero.

There’s nothing quite like the pain we feel when we grieve the loss of a loved one. The truth is though, they never really leave us; they live on through us until the day we meet again in Heaven. We must seek the Lord, finding rest in Him as He comforts us, choosing to find things to be grateful for.

My Daddy used to write poems for my Mama. The gift of poetry is one of the many things he left me with, and by this book, his fingerprint will remain on the earth. This poem came to me on a day when the loss of my father weighed heavily on my heart. I thank God for this gift.

Happy Birthday, Daddy; I’ll rest in Him until we meet again.
