Our God is an artist;

He created color for me and you.

I’m grateful our God is a lover of color

because I love color too.

Primary colors are simple—

red, yellow, blue.

All colors are beautiful

no matter the hue.

Soft colors are mesmerizing

like the sea and the sky.

Bright colors are striking—

the peacock and butterfly.

Flowers are my favorite

purples, pinks, and blues.

You can find any color flower,

whatever you choose.

Green is gorgeous, pink is pretty,

and blue beholds much beauty.

Purple is very pleasing to the eye,

and coral is such a cutie.

God created skin of all shades,

ebony, ivory, caramel too.

Even our eyes have different colors—

green, gold, brown, and blue.

See, our God is a God who loves color;

just look at me and you.
