I recently purchased a blouse displaying a beautiful array of colors, primary colors specifically. This blouse inspired my latest painting project in which I decided I would use only primary colors.

Primary colors were created by God for a purpose—to produce other colors, to produce the rainbow. The Body of Christ, like primary colors, were created with a purpose—to produce other believers creating a symphony of sorts, a symphony that glorifies our Creator. The thing about a symphony, like the rainbow as well as the Body of Christ, it’s even more beautiful than each instrument, color, or person it contains. What makes it beautiful is the combination, the unity of the individuals. Unity is our most powerful weapon against the enemy.

What it means to be united

is what it means to be free.

Freedom comes in defeating the enemy;

freedom comes from you plus me.

You plus me is infinitely greater

than just merely me or you.

Uniting together under God’s authority

is the best thing we could do.

.

We weren’t created to separate

but unite in perfect love.

We were created for one primary purpose

to glorify our God above.
