There’s a woman I work with who inspires me. She’s an amazing mother, a strong woman, and she does the things she sets her mind to. Oh, and she’s very, very beautiful. If she were a color, she would definitely be gold.

Gold is precious, rare, beautiful, highly valued and sought after. One property about gold that is often overlooked is it’s malleability; gold is highly malleable. In fact, it is the most malleable of all known metals. Malleability is a physical property that can be measured by how much pressure and compression the metal can withstand without breaking. So although gold can be easily moved, easily stretched thin, it cannot be easily broken. Gold is very, very beautiful but also very, very strong.

“Make Things Happen” is inspired by all the strong mothers, strong women out there who make the choice to show up not just for those they love but for themselves as well.
